The Second Coming of Mavala Shikongo, a Finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and a San Francisco Chronicle Best-Seller, won the Bard Fiction Prize.  It is set in Namibia where Orner lived and worked in the early 1990's.  Currently, Orner is an associate professor at San Francisco State University.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Student price is $30 and includes dinner. Cassidy will be presenting on the topic of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b style="font-family: arial;"&gt;"May it Please the Court: The Art of Oral Arguments Before the Supreme Court in the Pledge of Allegiance and Other Cases."&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Mr. Cassidy is a shareholder with the law firm of Porter Scott in Sacramento and holds the distinction of not only appearing before the US Supreme Court twice, but also prevailing in both cases.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i style="font-family: arial;"&gt;County of Sacramento v. Lewis&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;, 523 U.S. 833 (1998) involved civil rights issues arising from a police pursuit, and &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i style="font-family: arial;"&gt;Elk Grove Unified School District v.
